On Sunday afternoon, April 2, a fire broke out at Norrmejerier’s dairy in Luleå. The very next day, production resumed.
The fire started in connection with the sauna in a staff area. The dairy was evacuated, and no one was injured in the fire. Production at Luleå dairy resumed on Monday morning and is running as usual. No delays in deliveries from the dairy have occurred. Several office workplaces are affected by the smell of smoke and affected employees will be given the opportunity to work from home until further notice.
Norrmejerier operates in several locations in Norrbotten and Västerbotten with dairies in Umeå, Luleå and Burträsk.
