Lisa Ehde is leaving Arla Foods to become the new CEO and Group President of Lantbrukarnas Riksförbund (LRF). Ehde is a qualified agronomist and has previously worked at LRF. -It feels like coming home, she says.
Ehde currently serves as Vice President of Agriculture at Arla, where over the past five years she has overseen around 80 employees and managers across seven countries. Her responsibilities have included global work with Arla’s farmer-owners, on-farm sustainability initiatives, commercial concepts and member-related projects.
LRF’s President, Palle Borgström, welcomes her appointment, highlighting her modern and decisive leadership style as well as her broad experience across public affairs, member-based organisations and commercial operations. He notes that she has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to navigate and lead through organisational complexity.
Before joining Arla, Ehde held several leadership positions within LRF, focusing on sustainability and agricultural policy. She is a qualified agronomist and lives on a small farm in Uppland. Ehde says she is eager to return to LRF at a time of significant change, emphasising the increasingly vital role of Sweden’s farmers. She aims to strengthen the conditions for profitable and competitive businesses across the green sector.
As CEO and Group President, Ehde will lead LRF’s operational organisation of roughly 223 employees, represent 115,000 members nationwide and oversee the organisation’s four subsidiaries.
- I want to help drive the agricultural sector forward and make a real difference on key future issues — for today’s members as well as tomorrow’s. LRF’s clear mission, purpose and values make it feel like coming home to me, says Lisa Ehde.
Ehde succeeds Anna-Karin Hatt and will take up the role no later than 30 April 2026.
