Arla is strengthening its collaboration with the price comparison site Matspar.se, to help consumers find the cheapest food products online.
– In our recipes on Arla.se we have added a ‘buy button’. With a click on the button, all ingredients in the recipe are forwarded as a shopping list to Matspar.se, where the consumer can choose the online store that offers the best total price for all ingredients, Catarina Molin Österlund, responsible for e-commerce at Arla, explains.
– Many consumers are facing a tough financial situation. At the same time, it is important that Swedish farmers receive compensation for their cost increases, otherwise we will not have any Swedish food in the future, she says and states that the collaboration with Matspar.se is perfect timing.
– We have always worked to give consumers more choices and create services that make their everyday lives easier. Price becomes more important when you have less in your wallet.
Matspar.se is a price comparison service that collects all grocery stores’ range and prices online.
