– Bringing together advisory services, LRF and dairies in this manner strengthens us even further. It feels like a fresh start, says Inger-Lise Sjöström, chair of the LRF Milk Delegation.
The LRF Milk Delegation has been formed and comprises representatives from Svensk Mjölk, LRF, Växa Sverige, Rådgivarna Sjuhärad, and Skånesemin. Its aim is to exert additional pressure in political spheres, thereby improving conditions for dairy farmers to achieve profitability, competitiveness, and growth.
– There’s an optimism in the industry that I haven’t seen in many years. However, there are challenges, so it’s particularly crucial for the industry to convene and influence decision-makers on the necessary steps for the continued development of the dairy sector. Given that we operate in a global market, enhancing our competitiveness is paramount, especially from a preparedness standpoint.,” says Chairperson Inger-Lise Sjöström in an LRF press release.
