New industrial director at Skånemejerier

Skånemejerier has appointed Tintin Mattsson Skalshøi as its new Industrial Director, placing him in charge of all the company’s food production facilities. He will assume the role on 1 July and will also join the company’s executive management team.

A qualified dairy technologist, Mattsson Skalshøi brings extensive experience from across the dairy sector, having held a number of senior leadership positions in both production and technical project management. His background includes roles within the Lactalis Group and Arla Foods.

Most recently, he served as Site Director of Malmö Dairy, Skånemejerier’s largest production facility. During his career, he has also played a key role in establishing two dairy plants from the ground up, in Thailand and Sweden.

“Tintin combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills. His experience in developing and managing modern food production operations will be a major asset as we continue to strengthen our industrial capabilities and competitiveness,” said Cecilia von Perglas, CEO of Skånemejerier in a press release.

In his new position, Mattsson Skalshøi will oversee Skånemejerier’s industrial operations, with a focus on safety, quality, growth, efficiency and sustainability.

“Swedish food production is more important than ever, both from a sustainability and national preparedness perspective. I look forward to continuing to develop our facilities together with our employees and strengthening our ability to deliver high-quality products produced in Sweden,” said Mattsson Skalshøi.

He succeeds Mathieu Le Duey, who is moving to a new position within the Lactalis Group as Industrial Director at Galbani in Italy.

Skånemejerier is one of Sweden’s largest food manufacturers, employing around 900 people and sourcing milk from approximately 300 farms across southern Sweden. With production facilities in Malmö, Kristianstad, Hjo and Lunnarp, the company produces dairy products, juices and fruit drinks under brands including Allerum, Lindahls, ProViva, Bravo and Salakis for the Swedish market.
