Sanna Rue Boson appointed Head of Arla’s Kallhäll Dairy

After nine years away, Sanna Rue Boson has returned to Stockholm Dairy – this time as Dairy Manager. She took up her post 1 February, and now assumes responsibility for Sweden’s largest dairy in terms of number of employees.

For many people at Arla, Sanna Rue Boson is a familiar face. Between 2014 and 2017, she worked as Production Manager at Stockholm Dairy. She now returns as Head of the dairy.

  • It feels great to be back at Arla and in Kallhäll. I have many fond memories from here, and I look forward to continuing to develop the business together with committed colleagues and to creating value all the way from cow to consumer, says Sanna Rue Boson.

Sanna Rue Boson holds a Master of Science in Engineering, with a specialisation in Technology Management. She has extensive experience in production, distribution, sales and technical projects, and has held senior positions at, among others, Danone, Lantmännen and, most recently, the battery companies Northvolt and Lyten.

In her new role, Sanna Rue Boson is responsible for around 700 employees, making Stockholm Dairy the largest dairy in Sweden. She reports to Ann-Louise Wärners, Director of Arla’s fresh dairy operations in Sweden, who is very pleased with the appointment.

  • Sanna knows the business well and has a natural ability to engage and motivate the people around her. Her combination of structure, energy and a genuine interest in both people and results makes her a highly valued leader and an important addition as we continue to develop our fresh dairy operations in Sweden, says Ann-Louise Wärners.
