Norrmejerier has sold its property in Bergnäset, Luleå — previously home to its dairy operations — to Pionjären Fastighets AB. The transfer of ownership took effect on October 1, 2025.
Norrmejerier will continue to lease parts of the property until December 31, 2026, during which time the remaining equipment will be gradually decommissioned.
- We’re pleased that the property now has a long-term and committed owner with solid experience in developing industrial environments, says Gerhard Bley, CEO of Norrmejerier.
Pionjären Fastighets AB, based in Boden, is a private real estate company that acquires, owns, manages, and develops properties across northern Sweden.
The company plans to gradually develop the site once Norrmejerier vacates the premises in 2026. This may include both managing and adapting existing facilities, as well as developing the surrounding area in collaboration with Luleå Municipality and future tenants.
- The former dairy in Bergnäset, Luleå, is a strategically located property with excellent transport connections and strong development potential. For Pionjären, this is an opportunity to contribute to the city’s growth, provide functional premises, and create long-term value for both tenants and the people of Luleå, says Kim Sundberg, CEO of Pionjären Fastighets AB.
The purchase price remains confidential.
