Arla crowned Sweden’s strongest retail brand again

Arla has once again been recognized as the strongest brand in Sweden’s grocery retail sector, topping the Swedish Brand Award 2025 for the fourth year in a row.

The annual survey, conducted by Evimetrix, is based on responses from 4,500 consumers who assess over 400 brands across 30 categories. Rankings are determined by a combination of customer satisfaction and brand awareness.

The achievement underscores the brand’s consistency and resilience in a competitive sector:

  • Winning four years in a row is a remarkable accomplishment. It reflects strong communication and the ability to deliver on customer promises consistently, says Peter Wissing, survey manager at Evimetrix.

This year’s overall winner across all categories was IKEA, followed by Systembolaget in second place and Arvid Nordquist (Classic) Coffee in third.

Arla’s strong market position is also confirmed in other surveys, ranking as the most preferred dairy brand in the Kantar Brand Equity Tracker and taking second place among Swedish food brands in YouGov’s Best Brands 2025.
