On Monday, April 7, King Carl XVI Gustaf presented LRF Milk’s gold medals to dairy farmers who have delivered top-quality milk for 23 consecutive years.
- Swedish milk and dairy production are truly world-class. It takes an incredible amount of dedication and effort to maintain this level of excellence for 23 years. I’m impressed every year and by every gold medalist, said Peter Kofoed, head of LRF Milk in press release.
The gold medal ceremony has been a royal tradition since 1958. This year, eight dairy farmers received LRF Milk’s prestigious gold medal from King Carl XVI Gustaf at the Royal Palace. Five of the farmersare Arla members, and three are members of Norrmejerier. The award-winning farms range in size from 30 to 135 cows, with two of them being organic.What they all have in common is their commitment to producing milk of the highest quality for at least 23 years.
