It’s time to mark this year’s Milk Week in your calendar from November 25–29. On November 28, a conference will be held in Uppsala, where the future of sustainable Swedish milk production will be discussed.
During Milk Week, various topics related to the sustainability and productivity of milk production will be presented. You can attend in person or follow the presentations and discussions online.
– Milk Week is an important meeting point for dairy farmers, advisors, researchers, and other stakeholders in the dairy industry. Over the years, this event has often provided us with quick feedback on research results from those working in the field, which can inspire valuable ideas and new perspectives for ongoing research, says Rebecca Danielsson, project manager for this year’s Milk Week.
On the conference day, participants will gain insights into the current state of Swedish milk production, the role of animal health in sustainable production and productivity, heat stress, the economic feasibility of animal welfare, various climate tools, challenges in planning forage crops, and feed optimization. Companies such as Agronod, Animalienavet, and Gigacow will share their perspectives on improving and making Swedish milk production more sustainable.
