Skånemejerier launches cheese mince as an alternative to meat

Skånemejerier is ready with a new product in the dairy range: Pannoumi® cheese mince.

Adding cheese to stuffing or burgers are well-known in cooking. But it is quite new that a dairy launches a pre-produced cheese mince, such as Skånemejerier has done.

– Pannoumi cheese mince is a perfect alternative to meat because it is so versatile. The texture and taste mean that you can vary endlessly, it is suitable for all kind of cooking, and you can season as you wish. In addition, it has a high protein content, but a lower climate footprint than minced meat, Jannica Andersson, product manager at Skånemejerier says.

The new product is produced at Skånemejerier’s dairy in Kristianstad.
