Norrmejerier increase the milk price to the farmers by 43 öre from 1 October 2022.
– It is a necessary increase to secure the critical situation for the farmers, Norrmejerier’s chairman Göran Olofsson says referring to the raising prices of almost all farm inputs.
– With a further increase in the compensation for milk, we can slow down the negative development to some extent, but it is also important that consumers continue to buy local milk and dairy products, Göran Olofsson says.
During the year, the payment for the milk has been increased three times, most recently in July by 45 öre per kilo.
