New Swedish members of Arla’s Board of Directors

The Board of Representatives has elected Arla Foods’ Board of Directors for the next two years. Three new members joined the Board including two Swedes.

The election took place at Arla’s Board of Representatives meeting in Copenhagen. This year, three new members – a Swedish farmer and two employee representatives, one of them a Swede – joined the Board of Directors for 2022-2024. Arla’s Board of Directors (BoD) consists of 14 farmer owners, who are elected by the Board of Representatives as well as two external BoD advisors. Arla employees are represented by three members, who are elected by Arla’s European Works Council.

The Swedish members elected Daniel Halmsjö as a new BoD member and will replace Jonas Carlgren. This means that the Swedish members now are: Daniel Halmsjö, Gustav Kämpe, Inger-Lise Sjöström and Marita Wolf – plus Anders Olsson, employee representative.

The Board of Representatives also decided to appoint the two external BoD advisors, Nana Bule, and Florence Rollet, to become ordinary BoD members and thereby, have the same influence including the right to vote.
