In 2016, the Guild of Fine Food are taking the World Cheese Awards to San Sebastián – the European Capital of Culture 2016 – in the Basque region of Spain, where it will form a key part of the International Cheese Festival, organised by Artzai Gazta and supported by the Basque Country Government.
World Cheese Awards judging will be a major event at the festival, with all cheese being judged on the opening day, 16 November, and talks and tours to explore the World Cheese Awards entries taking place on 17 and 18 November.
