Corporate responsibility is built into SIG Combibloc’s business strategy. The concrete sustainability goals which the company aims to achieve are set out in the ‘Way Beyond Good’. This is what SIG is calling its roadmap to becoming a ‘net positive’ company. The company will be regularly reporting on the progress made towards meeting these goals, and has now published its first Corporate Responsibility Report. The Report follows the requirements of the internationally recognised Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.
The new, extra-slim small-format carton pack comes in a total of seven volumes from 80 to 180 ml, all of which can be filled on the same filling machine from SIG Combibloc. And it is a ‘little sensation’ in the truest sense of the word, because carton packs in volumes of 80 and 90 ml are a world first. FrieslandCampina Thailand is the first manufacturer to offer its products in 90 ml portions in the new combiblocXSlim carton pack. The company’s ‘Omega’ brand premium dairy products are specially designed to provide children with healthy vitamins and minerals, and have been on sale in Thailand since August.
