On Aug 31st Saputo Inc. announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the extended shelf-life (”ESL”) dairy product activities of Southeast Milk, Inc. (”SMI”). The ESL processing activities are conducted at one manufacturing facility located in Plant City, Florida (USA). The business employs approximately 66 people.

On October 26th Saputo announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the business of Murray Goulburn Co-Operative Co. Limited based in Australia.

On November 1st  Saputo announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Betin, Inc., doing business as Montchevre. Its activities are conducted at one manufacturing facility located in Belmont, Wisconsin (USA). The business employs approximately 319 people.
